With its cobblestone streets, iconic architecture, and vibrant culture, it's a place that never fails to inspire me. And while the city is renowned for its art and history, it's also a shopper's paradise. From high-end fashion to local artisan crafts, Florence offers a shopping experience like no other, especially during the winter season when the city is adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations. In this blog post, I'll be sharing my top 8 shopping spots in Florence, Italy for Winter.
1. Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore: A Divine Shopping Experience
The area surrounding the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, or the Duomo as it's commonly known, is a bustling hub of shops and boutiques. Here, you'll find a mix of high-end brands and local artisans selling everything from leather goods to jewelry.
My personal favorite is the Mercato del Duomo, a charming market located in the shadow of the cathedral. Here, you can find a variety of handmade crafts, perfect for unique holiday gifts.
